Cakes (Russian)

Greetings. I am going to step away from all things British today and look at cakes in Russia. These are not Russian cakes, per se, but rather, cakes beautifully made by Russian confectioner, Olga Noskovaa. I just love cake and I eat loads of cake as well. It is a wonder that I am not tipping the scales at 600lbs and it is also truly remarkable that I still have my own teeth. So yes, cake is my thing. And let it be known that I would even sell my own brother for slice of red velvet cake. Yes. Yes, I would.

Russian confectioner, Olga Noskovaa’s cakes look amazing. You should follow her on Instagram. You better bet your strawberry shortcake I will follow her too. Actually, I already do.  Her cakes are beautiful and enchanting in equal measure. Can a cake even be enchanting? Have you seen Noskovaa’s cake creations? Check out these pictures below, as pictures do not lie.

Noskovaa is known for making mirror marble cakes that are finished with a beautiful reflective gaze. She kind of takes the cake in cake making. In this case, you can have your cake and eat it too. Let them eat cake. I think I will stop now…you get the point.

I have to admit, I do not bake cakes but I am good at eating them. These cakes look too good to eat, but trust me, I am willing to give it the ‘old college try.’ Thank you Olga Noskovaa for making such lovely cakes.

Wow! Those are spectacular. One of them looks like a planet.

I’m sending the link to a friend in Connecticut, her grand-daughter decorates cakes.

Fantastic! I’m useless on the baking front, too. I make up for it at the consumption end, though 🙂
