European Council President Donald Tusk, pictured on the left, had a few choice words for economic migrants hoping to travel to Europe in search of a better life as they hoped to leave their war-torn existence/lives behind them. Tusk warned opportunistic economic migrants-those who are not legitimate refugees but rather those seeking better living conditions as he said, “I want to appeal to all potential illegal economic migrants wherever you are from: do not come to Europe. Do not believe the smugglers.” He later added “Do not risk your lives and your money. It is all for nothing.” Yikes. Harsh words, partly true. Perhaps he should have said this SIX months ago? And as for the illustrious Chancellor Angel Merkel… I have mad respect for you but perhaps you should have had a better strategy other than: ‘Komm nach Deutschland’ which means ‘Come to Germany’ for those of you who don’t know German. Check this, I am not pointing fingers and I don’t know the solution to this problem. I do know that the current situation is horrible as it plays out on my TV screen every night.
Also, this is not really related but see the below picture? That is Greek Prime Minster Alexis Tsipras who NEVER wears a tie. What the what? It is probably hot there, I get it, but you should really wear a tie, mate. That is all.
