Tea is the lifeblood of this country. I used to drink coffee but I have changed my wicked ways and now consume 6-8 cups of tea daily. Too much? Not enough, I say. We all know about the origins of tea, how the Americans dumped it in the Boston Harbour. Those Yanks! Anyway, those days are long gone (thankfully). If you want to make a perfect ‘brew’ or cuppa or just want to know how to make a perfect cup of tea, then you have come to the right place.

Use a good quality loose leaf or bagged tea
• This must be stored in an air-tight container at room temperature
• Always use freshly drawn boiling water
• In order to draw the best flavour out of the tea the water must contain oxygen, this is reduced if the water is boiled more than once.
